    Default My crappie slayer..

So after lurking awhile I finally got a chance to take some snap shots before my outting this morning. This is my 9 foot old 2 man bass boat. I just cut some new platforms the other day, and was waiting to see how they fit and felt before I carpeted them. I'd kill for some sort of steering pedal for my motor when I am standing. This boat is so stable when standing its amazing.

And the way I steer when sitting down .

And the damage she did to the fish this morning.

    Nice bunch of fish.Thumbs Up
I've learned over the years that them fish dont care what kind of boat youre fishing out of as long as you can get the bait in their faces. Congrats on the catch and thanks for sharing the pictures.

You can get an extension handle for the trolling motor.....

I would go to Home Depot and get some PVC and angles to glue together for a couple dollars. Usually you can find a size that fits snug over the handle. You can customize it to fit exactly where you want to stand.

Yeah I was going to get the extension handle, but it would impact when I stand. Another option would be to find one with a 90 degree elbow and basically just run it straight up, combined with a bigfoot switch it would be the closest thing I could get to the pedal steering.

As a side note, I remember that day being very hot, and me being an idiot.

Please wear your PFD when in a kayak or small vessel.
