Wasn't to impressed with any of the options out there. They all seemed to sit to close together, for a couple of 225#ers. No elbow room, kept hitting each others arms or poles whie trying to fish. So I decided to build my own. Even built a pole in the middle to hold my Patio Umbella.

I have one and for the money u can not beat them i weigh around 275 and no problems leaning or tuening around vert sturdy

I wasn't talking about not holding up to weight, but everything we looked at sat to close, or wouldn't let both of us fish off the bow. But where ever they sat, we sat shoulder to shoulder and just wasn't comfortable, or for us anyway. So I custom built mine to take advantage of ever inch across my bow. Doing this allowed enough room in the middle to sit comfortable, plus hold the Patio Umbrella during the hot summer.
