Fished Indian creek tuesday afternoon prior to the monsoon. Crappie were not super cooperative in the afternoon but did manage to caught a few small crappie on jigs in 3-4ft of water. The crappie were all males and caught on various colored jigs. No monster catfish dang it. I fished from noon to about 2 for crappie then I decided to go bass fishing up river. I gave up the crappie with the plan to return closer to dusk. I caught a ton of spotted bass and some fat momma's mostly on shaky heads. I planned to return to Indian creek but then the storm came up. I'm glad my boat does 70mph so I could get my boat on the trailer quick before the I got soaked. I hope the best fishing for yall as I have to work till next wednesday. I know cold fronts are bad news to fisherman but I think cooling off the water will help the fishing next week.

I found the shad stacked up againest a tree, Crappie and Catfish were working them hard. The fish I cleaned had guts full of shad.

Look for the bait first, the fish will be there. Good luck!
