I found it to be a pain in the butt for trolling when long lining. I set up a couple of rods with them and they stayed tangled in everything in the boat. I may try them when I'm trolling Bandits on my down rods.

I've made some that catch fish, but I haven't gotten into the crappie with them yet. So far I've caught bass, bluegill, and yellow bass with mine.

The one's I make work great for Spider riggin and single pole'un. I can't see any of them working worth a hoot longline'un, too much weight. Here in MO were only allowed three hooks and I've caught several doubles.
