    Default Monday Morn Smackdown

Put in at Bucksaw around 7 and headed DOWN. Would have had a nice limit at 8:15 if it had not been a C&R day. Wound up catching 60 or more keepers by the time I left at 10:30. A few fish would hit the 12 - 13 inch mark but most were just good eaters. Rigged minnows on 1/0 hooks and Dear John (green/char) paddletails on 1/8 oz orange jigheads fished 8 - 12 feet down in 16 - 18 fow worked best. I would guess an equal number of fish caught on both. Prolly at least 50 shorts caught on minnows. It was a great morning on the water till the wind picked up.

Yeah. I started out with 6 rods but reduced to 4 shortly into the morn. There were times when I had 3 or 4 rods going at the same time. I would go thru a school and down they would go. Had 2 fish on one pole 3 different times.

Good job Bob!!!!!! My friend you can try some bengay for the sore arm, but it won't touch the fever Wish'n my arm was sore, that is the only cure I've found for the fever and it is temporary at best. Think I am heading to Eufaula this weekend, with a little luck I will come home with a sore arm!
