Do to wind conditions, most entries were
minnow tipped "spider rigging", close as possible to
to hydrillia & flaoting vegatation, using Kissimmee grass
and reeds to help knock down wind. (South-North lake,
wind at times gusted 16 - 20.0 mph comming out of south
& southwest)

1st place Benjamin/McGhee, used 7' Shakespeare Micro-
lite Graphite rods, pfueger 4410ul reels, 4# fluorocarbon,
wind drifting the north end of lake in 6- 7' water with 32nd
oz jigs, minnow tipped. Late midmorning, "long-lined" into the wind
with 32nd & 48oz curley tailed dark colored jigs with 130 plus
feet out

Next tournament will be April 14th, Lake Monroe, (fish lake
only) City ramp off Hwy I-4 by the bridge, Sanford area.
