Default Stren Hi vis gold line

When I was younger I fished on Lake Eufaula(Oklahoma) and some people I went with used HI vis goold. They seemed to do real good with it. I was wondering if anyone else uses Hi vis line? Thanks.

I use it a lot and love it for fishing jigs.

Been using hi-vis lines of one brand/color or another for about the last 25yrs of my Crappie fishing ... if that tells you anything Rofl

Seriously, though ... If you're a line watcher, hi-vis lines are the ticket. IMHO !!

I don't use Stren, but I use Hi-Vis Mr. Crappie or Ande. Its a must for long lining and dock shooting.

That's about all I use jigging and spiderrigging. Catch a lot of fish just watching the line. Great for older eyes tying knots.

BPS offers Offshore Angler Tight Line in hi vis for a reasonable price. Last one I bought was 4000yd of 4lb for just over $7. Landed a 7lb cat on it last week, tough stuff.

I sell and use Vicious HI-Vis. Tis line is manufactured in Dora, AL USA in a former Stren factory.

Does it seem to affect your catch in very clear water?

I live the hi vis Stren line. Has no effect on fish biting and sure helps for watching line for light bites.
