    Default Crappies on in Eucha!


    Not sure if this is the right place to post pics but I just HAD to tell somebody. After the big rains we had they were pretty much gone but now they're back and hittin hard like bass!

    LOL no, it's a white bass I picked up on the side... or as they call em over her on the far side of the big water (grand lake), a "sand bass". It's a wonder theres any of these in Eucha at all with all the giggers.

    Everybody else is fishin the bank but I'm finding them suspended near brush in 10 to 12 feet of water. They're not not necasarily that deep either. They seem to mostly hit 3 0r 4 feet down. Most of em are full of eggs so I ain't sure whats goging on.

    Lake Eucha has redefined everything I thought I knew about crappie fishin. I grew up on Grand lake and I allways thought crappie were between 10 and 20 feet down under a dock. Boy was I wrong, LOL!
