Question due to the fact that my car was totaled last week

due to the fact that my car was totaled last week by some kid who couldn't stay on his side of the road, i am lookind for a new (to me) suv to pull the boat with. just wanting some opinions of what you guys have so i can have an ideas what to look for. i want to get something with better gas mileage than my truck and it has to serve as our primary vehicle. looking to keep it under 15000 so i know that i will be looking at a smaller suv. thanks in advance

I just got rid of a 3 row seat, Chevy trailblazer with a V6, it got worse gas mileage than my Ram 1500 with a Hemi. If I can keep from it, I won't get another SUV. But sometimes practical trumps all.

Get something with a lower number rear end. That determines gas mileage. I have a Chevy crew cab 3/4 ton with a 350 and am getting 18 mpg, with a 373 rear end. EB

Glad you are safe. Things can be replaced. People cannot.

My truck was in the shop a few weeks, pulled my 18 ft Lowe all over the place with my wife's Chevy equinox, it did great, has good gas mileage as well.

my brother has one and i was wondering about how it would do. i have a 94 chevyz-71 for close trips and figured since we have to replace the car might as well get something that can pull the boat and not break us.

I have a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder with the V-6 and it pulls my 17ft. aluminum with ease & plenty of power to spare. It also has the third row seating if you have kids.

You might look at Chevy tail blazer or gmc terrain. Just my 2 cents.
