Darryl, I had to get a Coast Guard 25 ton inland license. The Snake River where I guide is considered federally navigable even though there are several dams. It's similiar to a 6 pack but the 6 pack may be a little tougher test. Mine was 2 days in the classroom and 3 days out on the Columbia River in a 56 footer. e- mail or call if I can help.
