    The shellcracker bite is quickly warming up here in Southern Indiana. I went out a few days ago and caught over twenty, could've had double that if I'd stayed longer.

    I'd love to see some pictures of those big ole Barkley and KY lake crackers...post em up boys!

    Too busy bustin slabs. My Dad caught one redear this week that went about 1 1/2 pounds on a longlined roadrunner. Needless to say there is now a waypoint where it came from.

    They are not on the bank yet. Been checking some of my honey holes and no bedding signs at all. It is still a big mystery to me where they hang out at pre-spawn. I hope they get the KYDFW survey together this year and shed some light on their habits.

    We caught 40 or so redears today. 4 fow, with temps around 63 degrees. Wax worms seemed to do the deed for them.
