Open Water Crappie Are Back/Pics
The ice is gone and the Bite Is Back. It took a few days to get on them but the Bite is back. Me and a friend put 56 in the boat today. The fish where willing to go on but with the cool bite in the air we ended it. From here on its game on. We were on a 4 ft flat and the crappie were happy to have the sky above and some food to chase. A couple days ago it was nice and in the 80 degree band.
Today chilly upper 40 ish. Early in the week I also got into some nice LM and Yellow perch.
