One heck of a HAY day for dinks
Hit the creek at 11:30am pulled out at 3:30pm. Caught alot of dinks today which made for a fun time for little man. Ended up with 25 keepers, best went 1.6lbs. Most fish were found in the back of the creek in 6 to 9 fow. Seemed to be scattered in open water, shad were everywhere. Had minnows but black/char seemed to stand out today. Water might be muddy but the fish are still there. Moving slow and taking our time seemed to work for us.

Dinks make for a blast. I would almost rather have twenty plus and 9 9.5 inches than 8 fish at 12". Glad you and the boy got out when mines old enough I sure hope he likes it.
