You should do well!! We caught our limit every day last week in 3-7 ftw...jigs and color really didn't matter much!
The lake is essentially still at winter pool. Be careful trying to motor in shallow areas and follow the buoys. Most areas have cleared back up from recent rains but we are going to get more tomorrow. There are fish being caught from very shallow to secondary drops in up to 20 feet of water. Some BIG fish showing up.
Good luck and get ready to measure tons of less than 10 inch crappie.

dm32, wishin' you, your wife, and friends the time of your lives on beautiful Kentucky Lake, home of the biggest and prettiest Crappie you will ever see! My motto is, "If you ain't catchin' crappies, MOVE," and do not ever pass up a stake bed or the least little bush this time of year!" Drop in a big fat minnow and I can almost guarantee it will be gone if you are in + or - 62 degree water!
