I fish where creeks come into the lake so for me if it rains alot it completely messes up the fishing but, if your out in the main part of the lake a little more then it might still be okay...
Have any of you guys had any luck fishing right after a storm passes or should i wait a day or two.

Conventional wisdom says that fishing sucks after a rainstorm. An old guy who fishes my homelake says it's because so much food has been washed into the lake (worms, bugs, etc) that the fish are full. Doesn't sound right to me, but what do I know?
My own rule is, if I've got the time to fish, I go.

I've had lots of luck after rains for catfish, no luck or very little luck after rains for crappie.
That is when I go to a 1/16th RR red head with a white stinger tail. I use the bubble belly tail and the crappie eat it up. EB
