Default Photos from Weiss and Lay Lake

During the past three days I had the opportunity to fish at Weiss Lake Little Marina and also at Lay Lake Dam. At Weiss Lake I fished with my neighbor Tim Walker. We did a lot of bank fishing. AT Lay Lake Pastor Willie B. O'Neil took me out on his boat. We caught lost of bass, catfish and crappie. They were hitting icicles made by Bob's Jigs and also aquaman and Alpha Kappa Alpha soft plastics made by shipahoy 41. We had a ton of fun. One of the crappies I caught overlapped a seven gallon bucket. This wallhanger was 3.2 pounds.

    Enjoy the photos.

    Hey

I spent the night at Weiss Lake Lodge on Saturday 3/17/12, I had spent the day fishing the upper half of Weiss Lake with Pop Rivers as my "personal guide" LOL. He was kind enough to show me several of his favorite spots, and even taught me how to "shoot docks", all in his brand new boat. That boat is really a nice rig to fish out of. Congrats on the big fish, one day maybe I 'll catch one of those slabs.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Thanks to all of you. That fish was mounted on my ribs with hot sauce and hush puppies. Those fillets were sweet.
