tournament question?
I was wondering if it was leagal to put on a private tournament at a public lake? Just a few guys getting together and seeing who could win. Just wondering if maybe some of you have hosted a small tourney and if it was allowed?

What you are wanting to do is no different than a local bass club holding a club tournament, just make sure you check to see if you need permits for the access area, as some states require it.

We have had one for the last 21 years. 25 2 man teams by invitation only. the restrictions here are the money pay out and the amount of people.
