Have any of you all used the Matzuo Aberdeen Sickle Hooks?

I saw some Matzuo Aberdeen sickle hooks on Cabelas and was curious if anyone had ever used them... I have used the matzuo sickle hooks for jigs before and really liked them but I haven't used the aberdeen... What about you guys?

I have some from Ebay 11 bucks for 100 that have a 1/16 oz jig head with a #2 hook that I should be receiving tomorrow. Look awesome and should produce with a 1-1/2" tube I use on other outfits. Sharp as heck as I have used other Matzue hooks. The 2.99 price for 25 hooks is a good deal. I would get more but 100 is plenty for now.

These hooks are like a lightwire used for minnows just a basic aberdeen hook. I have used the sickles before in the jigs but never just the basic hook. Anyone used just the basic matzuo aberdeen sickle hook?

Have not used them for minnows yet but trying to find some. Cabelas is back ordered.

Have been using them for a couple years and won't use anything else now. Just be careful because they are way sharp. I use #2 #1 and 1/0 . I tie my own teasers for trolling and spider rigging on the 1/0 .

Where can I get some? Cabelas said it would be 5-6 weeks but we need them before we go to Sardis next month.

Only place I have found them is Cabelas and believe me when I tell you I have hunted them. Made phone calls and countless emails. Grandpa Bobs Jigs carries them in#2 but were on back order when I last talked to them and they sell by the thousand but a good price if you had some folks who wanted to split a order.

Ed at ProAngler tackle has the red ones. I been using em for a year or so. Great hooks and super sharp.
