    Default battery question


    wasnt sure were to post this... i have a 400 gph 12 volt aerator i use for my cooler... been using my old trolling motor battery and runs great all day, but it weigh's 68 lbs.. was wondering how long a lawnmower battery would run it. need's to be about 8-10 hour's for a tournament.. just wanting to lighten the load some if i could, what do you all think? i know i could go buy one and test it but was hoping to save a little hassle of buying one then returning it.. thank's for any advice!
    why do today what you can put off til tomorrow, go fishing instead!!!

    Get one of those electric wheel chair batteries - they are like marine batteries - meant to be drawn down without harm, but they are small and much lighter in weight. Might run about $70 though, but will last many years, and have great shelf life.
