Longview Crappie staging

Hey fellas I know this isnt the usual Smithville report, but I went out to Longview today and caught some decent Crappie on the east side of the lake in a cove 15 feet deep in about 25 feet of water. They werent really big but 9 and 10 in aint bad either. Caught about 15 keepers and bunch of dinks. We used minnows and jigs straight down. All of the groups of fish we were finding were all staging, some biting some not. These fish are in some huge groups it was amazing.In the hottest part of the day we were finding fish moving further into some of the coves but still out in the deeper water.

I thought about fishing Longview. I haven't fished many lakes besides Smithville since I moved here .
