Where to fish in central part of Alabama????

Moved to Tuscaloosa a few years ago from Missouri and have not really got into the crappie. Have fished the warrior, Weiss and around Demopolis but nothing like I expected from Alabama crappie. Just looking for names of boat ramps to put in at places like Nealy Henry, etc. Would love to eat crappie again. Help and thanks.

Fish the Tombigbee from the Ringo Bluff ramp. Lots of coves and blow downs with good fish. I also have heard that the Alabama River around Montgomery and the Millbrook area are producing large quantities of large fish. Its where they held the big crappie tournament, and its supposed to be the best Alabama has to offer right now
