J. Percy Priest Crappie Fishing Tn.

Fished J. Percy Priest Lake on Saturday and Sunday for crappie. Saturday was a terrific day as we fished the majority of the day and kept 41 crappie over 10". One fish was over 15", three fish over 14", and several over 13". The 15in. fish weighed 1lb. 6oz. My mother and father partnered with me over the weekend as they were visiting from In. It was great family outing on the lake. Sunday was a little tougher as we waited out the weather and did not get on the water until 3:30pm. We managed to boat 18 fish over 10" and quit around 6:30. It was obvious that the cold front passing through had slowed down the bite drastically. All fish fell to minnows fished on a double hook kentucky rig over brush in 15-27ft. of water.
