    Default El Dorado 3/12/12

Took the afternoon off and my whole crew went out to El Dorado on my newest fishing buddy's first fishing trip. Two kids in the boat can quickly trash it. Fished the main lake brushpiles for crappie, kind of scattered on location and bite was slow and light, about 10-12ft down, but we ended up with about 20 fish, with the biggest crappie being 13.5in, and also a big 16.5in female white bass. Water temp was from 47-50deg.

OMG the corruption of a couple of young children being exposed to the wonders of fishing.

WTG good pictures and good memories were certainly made there. Thanks for posting. Thumbs Up:Hands Clapping

You wouldn't have even had to take fishing poles along for it to be an awesome day on the water with the weather as nice as it was Monday and the family on the boat! Great pics.

Thanks for the replies. Monday we couldn't ask for better weather. Definately a lot more work and planning to bring the whole family to the lake, but well worth the good memories. Fishing takes the backseat alot threw the day as a kid needs something, I don't get to reel many fish in anymore, my depth finder gets reconfigured, my jig color selected, tackle box rearranged, snack bag scavanged through, and the fish in the live well get harrassed. Fun times.
