stuck it out in the wind and rain yesterday and ended up with a mess of dinks.
9-15", average 12"s. Caught them under a cork 2' down in 8-10 fow water. Temp ranged from 49-51. About 50/50 males/females. Half the females were carrying roe.
Not sure if it was because of the mild winter or abundance of shad, but these fish has some of the fattest bellies and widest shoulders I've seen in a while. Add in some crossed eyes they remind you of Deadeye's figure!!..... LOL
Either way, it was just down right horrible fishing. Almost wish I'd of just stayed home. :p
