    Default Xpress H-17??

I am about to purchase a new Xpress H-17. I am torn between a 90 hp and a 115. Does anyone on here own one of these boats? I am looking for opinions. I now own an Xpress H-54 with a 90 on it.

the price difference in a 90 and 115 (depending on the brand motor) is $400 to $600. If it were $1000, (which its not), it would still be worth the 115. When you are talking about boat motors, bigger is always better, period. Get the 115, you'll wish IT was a 150.

I got the 115 on my pfc18 and if it would of only been $1000 more would of did the 150. I am very happy with the 115 on this boat and was not worth $2500 more for the 150 to me on this style boat. If less than $1000 difference I would definitely get the 115. If $2500 like between the 115 and 150 well I don't know about that cost difference.

Thanks for the responses. I'm leaning toward a 115

My fishing buddy has one with a 90 on it and it will scoot and cut sharp. I believe i would go ahead and opt for the larger motor on one of these boats because they handle great in the water. I have a 1756 Duck boat with a 75 on it and it is perfect for that light boat. It is rated for 90 but man on a Jon boat that would make me a little nervous. The boat your lookin at should handle the 115 like a champ though.
