    Default Shelbyville

Was able to slip away to Shelbyville for a few hours . Put in at Eagle and fished from 9 am to 1:30 pm . I tried several spots from 3 Fingers to Coal Shaft . The best area was around Eagle Creek . I caught 8 keepers from one spot . The other areas I fished you might catch 1 or 2 fish or nothing at all . At the end of the day I had my limit . Biggest fish was 11 1/2 inches and the smallest was a 10 inch squeaker . Most of the fish I caught today were in 6 to 8 feet of water but some were shallow . Tube color didn't seem to make much difference . Surface water temp was 62 . The males are getting dark but I couldn't find any bedding fish .

    Default Lousy with Crappie

Couldn't buy a keeper on Saturday. Cousing had 5. Musta caught 75 vertical jigging near Coal Shaft

Most fish were males caught in less than 3 ft. of water. Worked the deeper water out from the males and couldn't locate any big females.

Tore them up along the rip rap slow vertical jigging. Good spot along the Railroad bridge to take some youngsters.
