    Default Frabill Ezcheck'r

Just want to remind you guys about the possible inaccuracy of the Frabill Ezchek'r...

Caught a few blacks yesterday that need to be measured...

Dropped them in the Ezchek'r...and they show right at the 10inch mark...BUT...

The black's nose was NOT all the way down in the Ezchek'r...

Some of the blacks have enough girth that they are not sliding all the way down into the Ezcheck'r....

Make sure you check if the fish's nose is all the way down in the Frabill Ezchek'r....

Need a new one anyway. As I tossed a shorty back yesterday I caught my checker on the rail and tossed it right to the bottom! OOPS! Is that green colored checker any wider?

I have 2 aluminum yard rulers that are pop riveted on my boat. One in front and one in back so they are easily accessible.
I fished walleye allot and that was the best method of measuring. I know they sell the ruler stickers also but my boat is carpeted where I wanted the rulers.

I have had that same problem. I picked up a couple blue measuring boards at Weiss that look about the same except they dont have the cover across so fish can jump off but even the biggest crappie will fit. I have a piece of tape on mine to show me the 10" mark easier. I can't remember the name of the board I got but will get in my boat tomorrow to see if it even shows a name on it.

No but the red Caps and Coleman is. I cut a slot in mine where it would allow the top fin and some of the back to stick out.

I must have a different one than you. It is green also. I had to cut a slot in mine.
