How strong is the Dub-L-Seat???

Make sure you watch the tire when I let it down! Remember this seat is all 6061 aluminum except for a 303 stainless steel pin for mounting to the boat, and it only weighs 21 lbs, is completely removable and comes in brushed aluminum or your choice of custom colors. Can you get it in 48 hours? Nope, not at this time but I'm working on speeding up the production process without compromising the structural integrity or the custom fit process. I build every one of these one at a time, test fit them in a boat, allow a few days for the aluminum welds to settle in (aluminum welds gets harder with time), retest the fit, powder coat each part, and after cooling I install the replaceable nylon seat bushing and then.....check the fit and swivel again!

The quality of this product is apparent, even from photos. I'm a fabricator, I know and understand quality workmanship. The engineering is first rate, the end product reflects this.

I don't own this product, but I will soon. I honestly don't know how you can build them for the cost you quoted.
