Tried below Truman Dam the last two late afternoons til dark. Saw a very occassional walleye caught but I was not able to get one. A fair amount of decent crappie taken and white bass, a couple of hybrids and a couple of Buffaloes. Fished the west side only, maybe I should have tried east side? Fun to get out there and try. Virtually no current except a little bit after 6 last night. Seems like most fish were caught on small twisters and various medium plastics. Lots of good folks out there, hope to go again one of these days. Imagine it will be a lot better in a week or two especially if we start getting rain and hopefully they will run more water.
The back eddie will be a pretty good place too. I caught a walleye finally below bagnel dam tuesday night and it was only a 13" and it was staged in around 5ft of water so they are doing there thing. You may try goin at night if your dead set on walleye.
