I love that lake. Go almost every spring.
Headed for Norfork Lake tomorrow with the bride and meet up with our son. Hope to get into some crappie and I will probably throw out some jugs for cats. Between the 2 I hope to accomplish something.
I love that lake. Go almost every spring.
I've been fishing that lake 2 or 3times a year for the last 23 years, I've caught bass, bluegill and catfish. The crappie beat me all the time so, if you know some good spots please fill me in. I start out of Kurly Point if that helps.
We fish more up by Cranfield and Pigeon Creek.
Walleye and white bass have started from the stump hole down to Liner creek from what they've been telling me at my sporting goods store. Most are putting in at Udall and fishing the flats.
Haven't heard much on the crappie bite yet. Bull Shoals has been hot for everything over @ Theodosia.....
I agree Norfork is a great lake. I only fish for crappie there and usually fish from Cranfield to Red Bank. The quality of the crappie is excellent. I will probably make a trip or two this spring.
Thanks for the tips gents. The fish won this weekend, didn't get but 1 cat and he wasn't big enough to clean. Saw alot of pepople fishing but nobody was catching, oh well at least got to spend time with my boy.
