Looks like nothing to do the rest of the week so we went and wet a line this afternoon,mid-afternoon bite was a slow retreive in 6 to 10 ft. of water andthe last hour the shallow bite turned on,2 to 5 ft and the fish were up high on the stumps.Jigs in the deeper water and small crankbaits in the shallow water.

These are going to Mom's 87th Birthday dinner the 18th but I'm sure there will be more.We had a blast last year and will have to do it again this year,sure seen alot of fish get eat.

Great catch and report Dave. Look forward to another fish fry if you and Kenny are willing to do it again. We will have some extra money for supplies for it and will get you some help also. That was the best turn out last year and every one stuck around after words to BS. Let's plan for a cooler month this year.
