Weedless jig rigging

Here is a good price for weedless jig heads.
I'm trying to figure out how you would rig them.
Any ideas ?

First thing I would do is cut the weedguard fibers a little closer to the hook point. Then I'd size up a 1.5" solid body grub against the jighead, to see what it would look like threaded on. If I wasn't satisfied with what I saw, I'd cut the head portion of the grub down to where the combination looked more balanced (distance from head of jig to tail of grub, and where the hook point was located in reference to the overall length). Then I'd go

Here's the style I use. A little more expensive than $6.00 per 100. But work very well. I have gone to using this Jig exclusivly these days. I buy them in weights from 1/4 oz - 1/32 oz.

those fiber weed guards are way too stiff. I make mine using stainless wire
