I have used the Slab Hammers with great success. I have not tried the Bandits
Does anyone have an opinion on the Slab Hammer crankbaits vs the Bandit 300s? I haven't tried either one yet....but I'm looking at both. Seem very similar to me. Kinda pricey.

Wishin I was Fishin
I use Bandits 200&300,Wiggle Warts,Slab hammers,CrappieMaxx and they all work IMO pretty much the same I can't say I catch more fish on one than the other, depth depends on the line you have out there is a chart in the forum here somewhere. My favorite colors are pink, white, black, chartrures they all have a rattle. If your whatch you can catch them on sale at different places different times, for the money you cant beat the CrappieMaxx I believe they are running 3.99 a piece compared to 4.69-5.99 for the others. A few months ago Slab Hammers went on sale at Dicks Sporting Goods for 2.99 each so just keep eyes open and stock up when there on sale that will save you some money.
It is a opion thing like Mayo or Mustard, both work well you will get all kinds of responces. I would try both and see which one u like the best
TOO MANY IDIOTS TO FEW BULLETS
I'd also like to say that the baits seem a little big for crappie. But maybe that is b/c I catch fairly small crappie in my overpopulated pond. I assume the 2" baits are small enough?
As stated above both work fine but bandits offer more colors and are cheaper.
If you han't tried pulling the Berkley Flicker Shad size 7 it is a great bait.
Fish like your hungry!
A 2 pound crappie can inhale a 300 Bandit.

I've tried the CrappieMaxxs, the Bandits, The Slab Hammers, and Rebel's Crappie Crank-Rs and they all work. Just doing a side by side comparison, the Rebels appear to be the best made of the bunch. Bandit has 'em all beat in terms of the variety of colors offered and they are pretty much the standard for trolling cranks.
I got 350 heads on a 305 engine.
I get 6 miles to the gallon.
I aint got no good intentions.
I've always used the R's by Rebel, but going to try something
different this year. Maybe some of the above mentioned will
work, but never know till you try.
