Every hole behind the levee is on fire right now, I've grown up fishin all the holes in SE mo and nw Tn and places that have NEVER had fish are turnin out stringer after stringer of specks, old man river is apparently loaded and reinvigorated a lot of dead water.

heck ya!! that sounds fun! thanks for the report, I might just have to go hit some creeks and oxbows around here on the missouri. been awhile since I had really good crappie fishing in the river. maybe all that high water over the past few year has produced some good spawns.
Sounds like some great fishing! I've never fished the river, but probably should give it a shot. I actually have a post from South Point printed out with river fishing advice, just in case I ever try it.

are you bank fishing, or using a boat? i know of a few blues holes but have not tried them yet
