Poll to choose date for Green River Slabfest 2012

• Make your choice known for what date you would like for the GRL Slabfest to occur on. Majority choice will be the date. This poll will run for 10 days. Once date is chosen, thread will be put up for those people that intend to attend the event, so we can get confirmed volunteers to commit to bring the necessary items for cleaning & cooking & serving the meal.

Rofl ... ya think ?? I may just give it another day or two, and then call it, seeing as how I have grave doubts that any of the other dates are going to get enough votes to matter.

CrappiePappy,did you see my post other,when we first started the poll. It contain putting a little friendly competition for our get together. Giving out trophies to the 3 biggest fish from 1st to third. If this sound's ok everyone would split the bill for the tropies. What you think.

LittleJohn ... yeah, I saw the suggestion. Personally, I'm not in favor of it. It just seems like any time any $$ gets thrown into the mix, there's problems. It's going to be problem enough to get everyone there at starting time, back at finishing time, clean the fish, cook the fish, etc. Rofl
I think the last one went off pretty smooth, and I think it was because we kept it as simple as possible. I'm even considering keeping the menu down to a minimum, as there was a lot of uneaten food that was thrown in the trash last time.
