    Default Kayaking Ditto Landing

I took my kayak to Limestone Bay Saturday morning, water was up and looked like Chocolate Milk. I caught a few short crappie, but it was a lost cause from the beginning. Deicide to try Ditto Landing Saturday afternoon. I kept 21, tossing back over a 100 short fish. Not back for 4 hours.

Got lucky, dropped my daughter off for work and decided to give it a try. Wasn't planned, but usually keep the kayak on the Xterra in case I have a few hours here or there. Cooking them now, maybe I'll post a pic of hot and crispy crappie for the board members!

Crappie were scattered and feeding heavy on shad, 3 foot deep in 5 to 6 foot of water. I was dragging jigs on five poles, half and half, white or yellow.

Thanks, I usually get them when I go. May take an hour or two to get on a pattern though.
