can anyone give me an idea how 10 ft. ozark rod will compare with the bnm ultimate or brushcutter. i seen cabelas has a listing for a heavy ozark jig pole

I have used both and prefer the Ozark over the B n M. You'll probably find people who will say the opposite. Both are great rods and the quality is excellent. I just like to be able to support local business.

got a new12ft. gold bnm for xmas and havn't got to use much. it balanced great but a little wimpy also picked up a bps crappiemax in 10 ft ml but havn't been able to try yet.. and yes i do agree about helping the locals

ozrark rear reel seat rod 10fter light has plenty of back bone I started using one thing winter thanks to kcmocrappieslayer and kcmoballer I love it its perfect for dipping trees just my .02cents

I was at the Cabelas in StL today and saw that they had Ozark rods on sale.......I believe they were $44.95 (maybe it was $49.95, but thought it said $44.95). Just thought that I would mention it after seeing this post in case someone wants to take a look. I didn't know Cabelas carried Ozark products, but they had some.

[picked up the ozark 10ft heavy jig pole. had a hard time between it and the ultimate. we will see what happens.
Anybody know where to get replacement tips for the ozarks? i have a 10ft and need a tip for it!
