    Default Soda Straw Bobber

Check this out, talk about ingenuity and it would make for a great finessing bobber with very light weight jigs. Can see some room for modifying it some.

Very nice. Might have to make a few of these...I tend to go through bobbers during the spring fishing close to brush piles....

Without too much more work, you can make a very nice waggler float that will be more sensitive than 99% of the floats on the market. Just use expoxy to seal the top and bottom. Before you seal the bottom, though, add a split shot or two for casting weight and a barrel swivel to run the line through.

I made 3 of these...tested them....1/16 oz jigs made it stand up. Would be good to use in a Pond near my house...seems like it would be really sensitive. Will have to try them out when it warms up.

I've heard that McDonald's straws work well. (They're pretty sturdy.)

Some people like clear straws, though, since they're much less visible to the fish.
