Shenango Today

Chaunc and I hit Shenango today. We had a pretty good day. Below is a picture of the ones we kept - Total 28. We caught perch, rock bass, and bluegill along with crappie. Chaunc also caught a nice catfish. It was a great day to be fishin'. :)

It was nice out there. Sun was hot but the breeze kept it cool. Fish were tight to the wood again today and we lost a good amount of tackle to get those fish. It was worth it tho. Almost got cramps in these old fingers from re-tying so many times.... can you say ALLEVE ! Great time Gary.

Been to Shenango 4 times in the past week, mostly Golden Run, had a few crappies each time, but not very exciting. Need more time or advice.

Kid, fish other areas of lake. Look for any downed trees and fish tight to the trunck and branches. Use a small bobber and minnow or jig and nibble. Took over 50 keepers yesterday. Good luck.
