LOZ 2/27, mostly dinks but still fun

Had yesterday off, so loaded up and launched out of shawnee bend........fished alone, so had the usual hassles of loading/unloading/launching/etc. that come from solo fishing. Caught several fish but not much size.........I think I ended up bringing home 7 or 8 that hit the 10"mark, one of them probably made it to 11". Released another 15 or 20, some went past 9" but a whole bunch of short ones. Forecast showed 5-10 mph winds but it sure seemed more than that to me. BG scent wigglers were used......best color was the chartruese (I think it is called Outlaw on the package, kind of a blend of chartruese and lime green) and a light blue and whitish color.......orange head seemed to get more bites.......had better luck in 18+ fow. Found a new spot or two so that made it a good day.

That makes it worth it when you locate some new fishing spots. I got that single load and unload down just as long as my rope doesn't come untied and sends my boat out on the lake without me.

I hear ya.......I've come close to having the boat drift off a time or two but been lucky so far.

I hear ya.......I've come close to having the boat drift off a time or two but been lucky so far.

My got loose once-- caught it just as that 37 degree water got past My &*&*&. Now i retie it ever so offten and i don't pop it when it comes off the trailer. BRRRRRRRR
