    Default sickle jigs

Been doing some reading on the sickle jigs and was just looking for some opinions. Liked to order some but I thought I would get a few opinions first. Thanks for the help.

I started useing them last year and wont use anything else now. I just got done painting 200 more. Look at Bugmans jigs. They have a double barb that hold a bait better than any I have seen. He has a ebay store. Just google simply crappie. Hope this helps.

Yes those are the sharpest hooks I have used. Stuck myself several times painting the 200 I just got painted. They increase your hookup percentage on fish also, and they hold. Most are hooked in the roof of the mouth and that is a more solid spot to hook. I have never seen a jig hold a bait as good as Bugmans!

them sickles are good stuff, although the aberdeen hooks still work good too.you can bend the hook bend wide with the aberdeens to have a similar effect.i do that with with hooks alot when im making various lures
