In Georgia you can keep 30 crappie AND 50 bream.
In Pennsylvania, we are allowed 50 panfish, whether one species, or a combination totaling 50, with no size restictions. Except, if there are special regulations for some waters. Do other states do it this way, or is it by species?
Would like to know, what other states regulations are. Only need one person from each state to reply to this post. Only looking for panfish info. Thanks in advance.

Minnesota daily and possession limit for crappies is 10 of either species, or combined.
For sunfish it is 20 of any species or combined.
Some waters have species limits for either numbers or size or both, specific to them and you may not mix fish from other waters in the creel while fishing on them. There is no closed season and few if any posted spawning beds. Neither crappies nor sunfish nor any part of them may be used for bait.
Note that possession includes fillets in one's home freezer or otherwise in possession even if butchered; so what one already holds counts against the numbers that one may take in addition on any trip. FWIW rod limit is one per licensed fisherman with only a single hook or lure attached with a second allowed when ice fishing. Children under 16 and a couple of other special categories may fish without a license but the rest of the regulations apply.
kansas is per species 50 crappie no limit on gills or other pan fish some lakes have 10" and 20 fish on crappie
limit in nj is 10 crappie of 8" or larger, and 25 combined of bluegills and other panfish.guess they classify crappies here as a gamefish
The Illinois rule book says "Crappie (White, Black or Hybrid Crappie): There are no creel or length limits except in those waters listed under Site Specific Regulations."
Then it lists about 100 lakes, each with its own regulations.
I don't pay too much attention to it because my home lake is private and they want you to keep ALL the panfish you catch. But you must catch and release ALL game fish (largemouth bass and northern pike).
Tn. has 15 fish crappie limit on most lakes, with a possesion limit of twice the daily creel limit. No size or creel on blue gill.
