If you would like to go the cheap route. Go to Walmart and buy you a 115 horse power engine cover, buy some 3/8 nylon rope with two carabiner and your set to go. You can also grap one of your kids pool floats and use them to keep the rope out of the motor. I use this every time I fish and it works really well. Thirty bucks for everything.

Be sure to get the socks with the weights and floats so it will open quickly, and dont forget to get the harness.

I'll second the Cabela's suggestion for a quality drift sock. Mine has lasted for the last 5 years and hasn't torn.

An even cheaper version is just a plain old 5gal bucket and about 20 ft of rope! I have used this for several years drifting the flats on the Gulf of Mexico out of Steinhatchee! The bucket has other jobs it can do to

Cabelas. The bigger the better. Throw their boat length suggestions out the window and get a bigun.
