We may be too early for limits everyday but really just wondering which would be better for the time frame. Will there be enough water ( levels) to get to prespawn fish at Grenada?

Limits everyday at Grenada is not going to happen very often, even if the bite was on.

Maybe this will help you decide. Today and yesterday at Weiss. Pretty good size on them. Some look like bass.

IF we get the rain we need, and that is a big IF, for fishing to be decent the dates you ask about then the lake will be so muddy that it wont matter. Looking at the pics above I would say Grenada is not where to be those dates. Good luck.

I live 10 miles from the 160,000 acre Kentucky Lake, and the 57,000 acre Barkley Lake is within 25 miles of my house. I live 10 miles from 220,000 acres of Water.

Those are the combination of two boats, Darrell Baker and his partner but still impressive. I think those were actually caught in the Koosa River and not in the lake, Have a friend at Weiss right now and the surface temp this morning was 54 degrees. If you look at the weather (Centre, Al.) the next three days are in the 70's with lows at night 60. Then drops down to the mid 50's a couple days and then starting next Monday nice again. I think I would consider Weiss. Think I may head that wat come Monday if everything works out. I would watch their website and you can see how the fishing is going. Here it is Weiss Lake Crappie
