As long as we don't get 15 ft over summer pool again... I can handle the early spawn...

I was comparing lake temps for the last 3 winters and it looks like we are ahead this year by a few degrees. Wandering if we will have an early spawn?

Ah come on Rick. What's a little water hurt?? Ha. No I'm with you. We need a regular spring and see what they will do. Its been a few years since we've had one. The year I got my boat they closed down the lake to boat traffic. The high water has been good for the fish we are still catching large numbers of short fish. Love to see that.
Take you kids fishing today!!! They will be grown (and married and have children of their on) tomorrow. Then you can take your GRANDKIDS!

I made a chart comparing the data for the last three springs. Series 1 is 2010, Series 2 is 2011 and Series 3 is 2012. 2010 and 2011 are for 1 Feb to 1 May, while 2012 is from 1 Feb to today.
You can see that although the water was a lot warmer earlier in the month than it has been the last two years, it really isn't very far ahead of last year.
I have been thinking that we Will have an Early Spawn this Winter.
I posted this question on the IN Forum also.
It will be near 75 degrees here this Wednesday.
