spider rig @ night???

Does anyone do this ? Iv seen few boats with lights on front setup like head lights and wonderd if they were fishin at night spider rigging?

I will start by saying that I do not spider rig. I did a lot of night fishing last summer for crappie under some lights. There was a boat with a lot of lights on it spider rigging around me. Saw him on different nights. I however I have caught them long lining at night. Probably been 15 years ago and some friends, me and our wives went on fishing trip to Weiss. It had raing hard every day and we handn't got much fishing in. We were staying in a room at JR's that overlooked the lake. It quit raining I looked out the window and decided I would give it a try. My wife, me and my friend went out and long lined in the dark and caught a bunch. We could only fish one pole because we could have to hold it to feel bite.
