Mr. Crappie Hi vis line 6lb and 4lb
I am fixing to buy new line and was curious what type and size of line do most of you use for fishing for crappie with minnows and jigs. Thanks
Mr. Crappie Hi vis line 6lb and 4lb
Mr. Crappie Hi vis line 6lb for longlining...Mr. Crappie Hi vis line 8lb for spider rigging.
Mr. Crappie Hi-Vis yellow 6lb for all-around minnows and jigs. I actually prefer a small braid if I am only fishing jigs for the added sensitivity.
Looks like everyone likes the same....me too Mr. Crappie Hi-Vis 6 lb.

Currently using Mr Crappie Super hi-vis (USA made version) 4lb test for most all applications. Also have Vicious hi-vis 4lb test on one rod, and can't really tell much difference.

Vicious Hi-Vis Yellow, 6# test on my spinning rods.
10#/2 braid on my baitcaster (hoping that if the large mouth bass and northern pike are going to hit, they'll hit that (larger bait, etc). So far it hasn't worked out that way: the northern pike seem to like 1" micro-tubes on 4# line and light rod. They gotta get with the program!
Stren 8lb mono. Clear.
I cast from the bank, no boat to troll or I would prolly use high vis too
