NEED HELP Lovewell Reservoir

My name Is Andy, and im a fishaholic...

Im planning a trip to Lovewell reservoir this spring, I heard crappie fishing is the best in Kansas. Any tips or tricks for anyone who fishes this area?

Yes, quit listening to whoever told you that crappie fishing is the best in Kansas. Sorry, just kidding on that last one. Lovewell may be the best in Kansas for crappie but for quality fish you would probably need to go farther south. I fish Kentucky and Barkley Lakes and there are some nice ones here but the big 3 lakes in Mississippi would probably be the place to go for good numbers and 3 lb.+ crappie.

Good luck on your trip. I've heard there are good numbers of crappie in Kansas and they aren't as heavily fished for as here in the south.
