I have one of those myself. They will take about anything you can throw at them on the water. I add a little live well in mine with a pump an drain. I have a 30 and it moves the boat to fast most of the time.
Hey everybody! I just picked up a 9' pond prowler the other day and was wondering if anyone had any exsperience with them? I want to do some customizing but I don't know where to start. I grabbed a 30 lb thrust trollin motor and an anchor. Anybody have input on some other additions? Plan on scooting around the Truman area. Thanks everybody and God Bless!

Sounds like fun boat. do you need to register the trolling motor with the state?

Ensure you have at least one paddle, incase something goes wrong. and life vest. Put additional reflectors on it.

Well I get them to not report it as over 20 over the limit. That way it dont go on insurance and is easier to handle in points off of license. But I think I am going to start letting the wife drive in AR to keep from having to pay for bonuses to the police departments down there.
Oh and on this prowler, a decent electronic of some sort would be helpful as well.
