crappie for supper

Yesterday(sat) the family had the floatila out(4 boats) fishing for crappie. total about 80 eaters from a lake near Howell area. I'm in a fishing leauge near Lansing and I will post any good news from the Wednesday events on our local lakes. Love to chase walleye but I'm looking for fishing spots closer to home now with gas prices where they are and are going. tite lines

Hey firetechh, where are you located? My brain isn't functioning right now, but I've done walleye fishing all weekend long and also yesterday (I'll post pics soon). I ended up w/4 keepers (2-15", 1-17.5", & 1-18.5"). I'm going out again after work (yesterday I got rained on a lot, but caught 2 keepers) and I'll let you know.
